Ivan is a lifelong South Waikato resident with extensive business, governance and community leadership experience. A qualified retail butcher by trade, he owned and operated Tokoroa New World for nine years, employing more than 120 staff, and served as Deputy Chair of the Foodstuffs Auckland New World Committee. Ivan has been actively involved in numerous local organisations and community projects and has a long-standing connection with South Waikato Achievement Trust, having supported the organisation since its inception. He currently serves as Chair of the Board.
